Kaolin coaches the 5:30am SET at Dick Nichols District Park Monday through Thursday. Kaolin is quiet and reserved but only at first! Her workouts are challenging, especially when she throws in new moves to keep it interesting. She knows Motiv8ers take the time and effort to show up, so she puts in time and effort to get to know them and their needs and strengths. Kaolin encourages taking small steps toward your goals and practicing patience and consistency rather than looking for a quick fix.
Kaolin sees the potential in everyone, truly believes everyone is capable of more, and reminds her Motiv8ers that it’s ok to want more for themselves, not just from the workouts but from life!
Ty is the co-founder and co-owner of Motiv8 Fitness. Ty is a one of a kind coach--not just because he can put you through a challenging workout, but because he cares about what happens after the workout. He knows that it takes more than one hour a day to get you to your healthiest self and he’s there to give you advice on your food choices, send out at home workouts when you can’t make it to your Motiv8 SET, listen to your struggles and most important he is there to support and guide you on your journey to becoming the strongest version of you.
Ty shows you, through his own personal goals in fitness, that anything is possible as long as you trust in the process and have the courage to make a change in your life. Ty will 100 percent help you reach any goal you set your mind too!
Billy coaches at the Motiv8 Station (indoor fitness center). He is one of those guys who will push you to work hard while making you smile the whole time. He wants to see his Motiv8ers be their best possible self and is encouraging in a way that isn't intimidating but reassuring and kind. He has over three years of coaching experience.
Billy knows what it takes to go the distance and reach your goals. He is an ultra runner who practices what he preaches - a strong body and mind can help you overcome almost any plight and your health and fitness are the key to both. When he's not coaching or running, you can catch Billy playing upright bass around Austin.

Coach Kristin coaches the evening Motiv8 Station (indoor) SETS. Kristin is committed to helping Motiv8ers achieve individual goals and a healthier lifestyle. She is the kind of trainer that finds a good balance between pushing for progress and compassion for individual limitations. Kristin has coached one on one sessions and group settings since 2007. She understands that each Motiv8er has different physical abilities, strengths and weaknesses and strives to help each person excel.
Kristin has experienced her own struggles with her health and weight loss. Through proper training, education and most importantly inspiration she made a lifestyle change and became a personal trainer. Her health issues are a daily battle but she is unwilling to let them keep her from reaching her goals and encourages others to believe the same. Sessions with Kristin are always challenging and filled with lots of laughing, fun and most likely a little bit of dancing.

Colleen is a substitute coach with Motiv8, so you might see her filling in at any of the camps around town. Her background includes an NCAA Division I college Field Hockey career and competitive Ultimate Frisbee at the college and club levels. She's been coaching a range of sports for over 20 years, and now directs youth Ultimate camps, teams, and programs in the Austin area. Colleen comes from a family of physical education teachers, coaches, and sports officials, who've helped instill a passion for lifelong fitness and wellness.
Colleen's teaching and coaching style is all about community. Her experience with team sports drives that love for group fitness, and she enjoys building relationships through the shared goals of wellness and personal growth. Colleen especially appreciates the accountability and playful social interaction that Motiv8 offers, and she aims to combine those features in every workout.
